Friday Fashionista :: { Tropical Print }

Helllloooooo my sweet friends! Friday is HERE again how exciting 🙂 How has your week been? Well if you’re in Melbourne I’m sure you’ve been loving this week’s weather. Hasn’t it just been fab! Ah… a stunning 23 degrees yesterday and I think it’s looking to be the same today and this weekend. (I’m just squealing a little bit about that). I was in my element yesterday and I am kind of pretending it’s never going to change. 🙂 Sunshine + warm air = total bliss. So today I thought we could stay in that “it’s not yet winter so let’s hold onto summer a little longer” mindset… (who’s with me?! ) and be inspired by one of the hottest SS14 trends across the northern hemisphere right now… the tropical print. So here’s some ideas of how we can keep ourselves a little tropical as we head into winter. 🙂 X

Tropical winter.

What goes better together than pineapples and stripes?

Palm leaves and chinos.

Tropical + lace + navy coat.

Casual style with cons and denim.

Double floral + black satin.

For the boys… florals with chinos and brogues.

Cosy tropical.

A mish-mash of colour and prettiness.

The tropics in your hand.

Or in a little bow tie.

This top would also go fabulously with jeans and boots.

Tropical colours.

Boy shorts.

Tropical turquoise with white… add a cropped denim jacket = perfection.

 Palm leaves and ink.

Black skinnies + tropical florals + Celine. This look could easily flow into winter.

And blast from the past. Especially like that one Mr Cruise.

Pineapples and boyfriends.

This would also look fab with tan boots and a long beige trench.

Leopard + tropical = very fun.

 Shirts and sweaters.

Beachy boho tropical.

 For the tootsies.

And a love these pants! Well that was a bit of summery fun wasn’t it (with some winter transition ideas popped in there too)! So… happy weekend! Be sure to have some fun okay? What are you up to? I am excited to be supporting my lovely friend as she launches her new business. Stay tuned as I may just feature her in the coming weeks in my “Inspired By” series… along with a bunch of other fabulous people who will wow and inspire you.

Have a great weekend friends!
